Orlando Arts, Enzian Meets the Queen Augustus07 Orlando Art: Enzian Meets the Queen Film. Food. Friends. What could be better, right? Well, if that is what you seek, look no further than Enzian. Gentian is a truly unique moviegoing experience, as their website says, and I can personally testify that, after so many times myself. Enzian is Central Florida's not-for-profit alternative cinema, and boy, is it a good one. You will never be another like Enzian theater. It is located in the heart of Maitland on South Orlando Avenue. You recognized it right when you see it, just all the beautiful heavy moss on the trees. To me, Enzian still looks like more of a magical abandoned cabin in the woods that you'd find in a child's fantasy film, but hey, maybe it's just me. It was founded in 1985 by the Tiedtke family. At first it just shows classic films, but in 1989 the owners have decided to start with independent brit awards 2012 functions. That decision will be the face of the Enzian brit awards 2012 forever form and turn it in the great art film it is today, not just the Florida Film Festival, but much more than well.Die latest film showing at Enzian is the Queen of Versailles , directed by Lauren Greenfield, the documentary said both keenly observant and very funny to be. It is about the Siegels, a Central Florida billionaire family. The film gets the title of the fact that David and Jackie Siegel lives in a huge 90,000 square foot mansion inspired by Versailles itself. The film covers the duo's rags-to-riches story and then the credit crunch of 2008, all to a halt, causing David's business almost dried up overnight. The film deals with all the ups and downs so beautiful, though, with a charm and wit the audience glued to the director's werk.Check of Enzian's website for more information at enzian.org!
