News: Brit Awards, vma performers winning David Bowie and the Arctic Monkeys on MTV News
Milan, Feb. 20 (TMNews) - The king of the "Brit Awards" is David Bowie. The artist was honored last night as the best singer in the evening which is equivalent to the English "Grammy", while best group won the Arctic Monkeys. The Thin White Duke the coveted prize he had already won in the same category in 1984, while in 1996 it was brought home a Brit for his career. To collect it, however, there was Kate Moss in a space suit, clearly a reference to what David used in the seventies to impersonate Ziggy Stardust.
In the women triumphed the emerging Ellie Goulding, while the best revelation were the Bastille. Awards also Daft Punk, recent Grammy winners. The best international artist was Bruno Mars, while the Australian Lorde awarded female artist internationally. Among the awards have been numerous performances, but the star of the evening was sure Beyonce.
